I was photographing with a little 110 camera back when I was 8 years old. We went to Disney World and I carried that sucker everywhere.
And I was taking pictures back home at the home of my youth: ducks, the dog, my sister, my feet. I was 8 years old. Digital cameras were still the better part of a decade from the consumer market.
Today, I’m photographing with a camera that has more technology within it that I can fathom. From the little Kodak 110 to the Nikon D3s, one of the most advanced pieces of normally purchasable technologies on the planet, I would dare say.
I mean, the D3s is on the International Space Station! And there’s one right beside this computer as I type these words.
Yeah, the photo of the day kinda sucks, I know, but it was mainly an experiment: can I stop a truck in an image at highway speeds – his 60mph plus my 60mph = 120mph or so… in the middle of the night?
Dream big, my friends. Settle for nothing less.
