So… I really love shooting planned events (like sports) in a really good Golden Hour.
But either way – good light or not – soccer is a lot of fun to shoot. The action keeps moving and the ball is pretty slow: its easy to track it.
It just kinda looks cool. Especially at the end of the telephoto range… or reached out with the DX crop (effectively giving me 600mm).
…or just backed all the way up and hope for the best when a shot comes unexpectedly.
Anyways. That’s all I shot today. A little soccer. Tomorrow will be the other football.
