I’m taking so many photos these days, I figure I might as well do a photo of the moment fairly regularly.
Why not “Photo of the Day” or “Photo of the Week”? Well, because everybody that does that ends up taking pictures of garbage cans and construction cones on empty streets and it looks like they’re thinking, “Oh, man, I gotta take a picture of something!”
So, a little less than consistant – probably not every day – but definitely fairly frequently – definitely more than just one a week… hence “Photo of the Moment.”
Not only that, but they will be intentionally “interesting” (at least more interesting than a garbage can and a wall) and somewhat “decisive moment”. Adding more depth to the “moment” part.
Here’s today’s POTM.
I saw this moment coming down the street as I waited for a traffic light. These dudes were definitely being quite creepy following this girl. In fact, she stopped once to fix her shoe – which caused them to slow down quite a bit. A moment not left to be let go.
For once in my life, I wished the light stayed red. It did. I slammed the camera against the window and…
The Photo of the Moment for 31 May… even though the picture was taken on the 29th.
