Every now and then, I get to the end of the day realizing I haven’t done my duty for the day – a photo every day this year – and have to come up with a bail out…
Well… this is kind of a bailout. Its truly a horrible photo. But it comes with a fun story!
Driving back to Texarkana from North Alabama and we were passing by this catfish place in Decatur, Ala. Its not unusual to see smoke billowing out of this particular place. They’re normally frying up catfish… but… on this particular day…
“That building looks like its smoking quite a bit!” I say.
Just about that time, as we’re passing by slowly in a little afternoon traffic, a fireball comes out from inside and the window at the left side of the building explodes out.
There was a gas station across the street and it must have been dramatic enough to get everyone’s attention all at once.
But nothing more to see here. Its a bailout photo. But still a photo.
