So for some advancement stuff for my University…
…that I – as usual – don’t really know where its going to end up. Thinking… the College of Bible and Religion’s advancement stuff.
Since it WAS students and teachers from the College of Bible and Religion:
My boss and I were using a pair of SB-900’s on light stands on the right and on the left just out of the frame. They’re both on remote TTL at +1/3 as best as I can remember.
Regardless, it was a “catch-all” setup so both of us could shoot anyone in the group pretty equally and have consistent light no matter which lens was used.
Because this setup will work for wide shots like the one above…
…as well as tight shots.
The first shot was done with the Tokina 12-24/4 and the bottom one was the Nikkor 18-200/3.5-5.6 – two very different lenses but the results are very similar in lighting, background balance, and overall feel of the image.
So, anyways. Just a few tips.
For more, stay tuned…
