Today, while waiting for my sister to get out of a little work, I went hunting for something for my photo of the day. I went hunting a covered bridge.
Just for boredom, really, I’m no landscape photographer. Not even slightly.
I’m a people photographer. Just so happens there was a couple older guys piddling around the bridge. So, people in a landscape.
Pardon the processing, I was experimenting. Nothing ya couldn’t do in a color darkroom, though, I think. Just pulled saturation.
For further teaching, though, I present to you HDR:
Its just about what the human eye would see… alas, definitely way too much dynamic range for a camera. Literally 6 or 7 stops of difference.
For comparison, here’s a single frame of 7 compiled for the above image:
The blend was from a single HDR image simply done in Photoshop’s “Merge to HDR…” function. Takes a little more tone mapping stuff, but that’s pretty much it.
And, by the way, today is day 70 of my 365 Day project. Haven’t missed a day yet, even though there have been some close calls! And definitely some catch-up postings. But each and every day’s image was made on the day it was supposed to.
No double-dipping. 🙂
Stay tuned,
