On my last day home before heading back to Searcy, Ark… alas, Spring Break ends for me.
Its so hilarious seeing all these people on Facebook going nuts with these statuses saying: “PCB 2010 !w00t!” and such. Oh, silly people, I know for many of you this is your first year when you don’t have to use that fake ID and its all so extremely exciting – I’d hate to detract from your fun – but I wonder how many people out of college actually knew what a PCB even is…
Its kinda like those really over-protected kids that went nuts once they hit college because their parents were too strict all through their youth. Anyone knows exactly what I’m talking about.
When you’re 18 and you dye your hair because you can get your older sibling’s old drivers licenses because they kinda look like you… yep, real tough stuff – but you’re not really fooling anybody, not even the bouncer. Then all of a sudden you’re 21 and you can buy it yourself… then you realize, “Whoa, there’s actually nothing magical about this.” Then you’re 25 and looking at the kids with the shoe-polish (because they think its the same as that liquid window-chalk) drawn – and half misspelled and barely legibly squeezed – all over the back windows of their SUV, “Chelsey, Ashley and Katie are PCB bound *expletive*expletive*expletive*!” or whatever and all you can think of is, “Wow, that shoe-polish is going to really ruin the black weather stripping on their car if it rains. They’ll never get that stuff off.”
Either way, ya lookin’ a wee silly my friend…
So, in the spirit of Spring Break for everyone 18-21 years old…
Yes, its a donkey. Read ALL you want to into that. 😉
On second, thought, donkeys are pretty smart.
Stay tuned…
