I’m something like 107 days into 2010 for my 365 Daily Photo project… and in amongst the million things that I’ve learned about myself and life as a photojournalist, there’s one particular thing that is inescapable.
Life passes very fast. Very fast.
As you can see, the homepage of my blog is arranged with those squares that constantly are changing, bumping the oldest one off the bottom.
It seems just a matter of hours, something that stands out so vividly in my mind as “oh, that was just yesterday” is now a week or more old and is bumped off the bottom onto the second page.
I’m about to graduate from my university in a matter of weeks. I started my first day in an 8:30am English 101 class 6 years ago. You know how many days is in 6 years? Over 2,100.
There’s a lot of mileage in 2,100 days.
