Took a walk around the historical stuff again today. Acropolis, the agoras…
…so many of the old stories that I was told come flooding back. Its really true: you remember things very vividly when you care about them.
We started out early… alas the tour groups from the cruise ships caught up with us pretty quick. The Acropolis was a return to cattle-car tourism like Istanbul was last week.
But now, just sitting with a few locals next to Athinas St. using their rather fast internet (because nobody else is using it) sipping an iced coffee… and trying to avoid the herds.
