Lingering history…

In a similar way that it sometimes is fascinating how fast people forget history, it is also just as fascinating how we simply live with the histories we have created and move on from them – even with the remnants still lingering.

We moved from Prague… to Berlin.

Much of the history altered by the events in and directed by this city is still within the memory of the living.

Remember when that wall used to separate the city into two radically different factions? Remember when the books were burned in that square?

Whatever the past, the present lives among it.

But for some, the past can never be covered no matter how many walls are torn down or buildings built over the original sites.

Let’s learn from the past… it seems that Berlin is.
