“The first clue to finding something beautiful, is finding something meaningful.”
I find the notion that the simplest of things are sometimes one of the most important parts of anything.
A rope at a sailing marina?
…arguably the single most important thing to be found in the marina. Not only are the boats kept in the marina by ropes, each and every boat in the marina is controlled by some sort of rope.
Or maybe the winch on the front of an old military personnel carrier?
If the truck gets stuck, all the troop’s training and all the high-tech weapons in the world are just as good as the mud in which they are stuck. But such a simple device could potentially dictate the outcome of an entire armed conflict.
Its an exercise in small things, seemingly insignificant things…
…is anything truly useless?
Anyways… moving on…

PS: There’s something subtly special about these photos – I’ll speak more about it on the morrow… so stay tuned. 😉
