In a few years past, we have relied on the generosity of a couple of students to sit while other students photographed. Then swapping around.
This year, we decided to go with… models.
And, oh, what a moment of “why have I not done this sooner!?”
Teaching this class four times now and this makes a world of difference.
The lights are simple stage lights, permanently fixed to a recital hall. That way they are big enough for all the students to work on their own a little bit while demonstrating various types of light.
