So… what is different about these two photos?

Over four years of time has passed since I made the one on the left. It has since had a life of its own, being featured on the cover of my University’s magazine and being printed rather large a few times.
Four years of time on the road and four years of photographs separate the two.
My travel companions – also captured in both frames – are completely different, too. Instead of being “just” a student (in the left one), I was leading a group of students.
