There are those to whom the rules seem to not apply. When a person has been there for everything – every birthday growing up, every piano recital, every t-ball game, every graduation – she has a right to go in before the rest of the audience to listen to the performer warm up.
When the pianist is her granddaughter, she can get away with anything.
And, I assure you, it applies to her grandson, too.
